In a clip titled: “I wish I could not see this,” TikToker shared a disturbing footage of a driver who allegedly stole food from customers with his bare hands in broad daylight.
He was also busy licking his fingers. The man quickly poured some food into his container. He even resealed the packaging with a stapler so that unsuspecting customers would not suspect foul play.
In the thousands of responses, @sarahfromflorida’s statement has attracted a lot of attention. She said that the food delivery service confirmed that the man was one of their delivery drivers.
When someone suggested that a customer might have cancelled a food order, many netizens shut it down and provided reasons to oppose this claim.

They pointed out that the driver put the half-full container back into the original brown paper bag of the order. He carefully removed the crumbs from each dish so as not to be found.

Many netizens questioned why TikToker didn’t approach the driver and say something. The poster shared that her friend recorded the video and was worried about conflict with the driver. Instead, they reported the incident to Uber Eats.
A spokesperson for the food delivery service spoke to Daily Dot and said the driver’s behavior was “completely unacceptable.” They added that the driver’s access to the app has been revoked.
