Novolex, a manufacturer of packaging products, has agreed to purchase Flexo Converters USA and some of its branches.
Novolex, a US packaging product manufacturer, has reached an agreement to acquire Flexo Converters in the US, and the amount of the acquisition has not been disclosed.
Flexo specializes in manufacturing inventory, custom and recycled paper bags and sacks for restaurants and food service distributors.
Douro will use Flexo’s production capacity to meet the growing demand for food service and grocery store customers for take-out and outer packaging paper bags.

Novolex is a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, which mainly produces packaging products for the food service, takeaway and delivery, food processing and industrial markets.
In February of this year, Novolex announced that its products will begin to use the How2Recycle Store Drop-off label.
